Monitoring and early warning of major natural disasters has been a worldwide problem and a key research topic in various countries. To respond to the national development plan “Monitoring, Early Warning and Prevention of Major Natural Disasters", Guochuang Intelligent has been committed over years to the research of micro-magnetic basic sensor that can be used for forecasting and monitoring natural disasters such as seism, tsunamis and landslides. By analyzing and studying the geomagnetic anomaly signal before the seism, scientists found that the monitoring of geomagnetic anomaly signal before the seism can be used as one of the effective ways for seismic forecast. Geomagnetic anomaly typically occurs minutes or even hours before a seism. It is estimated by calculation that for a destructive strong seism with magnitude M=6~9.5, at 1km near the epicenter, the amplitude of the geomagnetic anomaly signal before the seism is up to 102~105nT. Based on the characteristics of geomagnetic anomaly changes occurring before the seism, Guochuang Intelligent micro-magnetic basic sensor with noise level of 20pT (0.02nT) can be used to detect the geomagnetic anomaly changes before the seism, and report to the control terminal synchronously for early warning for decision makers to initiate the corresponding plan.

 With the real-time online collection of three-component of geomagnetic field and vector data of total field by seismic detector developed on the basis of Guochuang micro-magnetic basic sensor array, it not only can observe geomagnetic anomaly before the seism to provide basic information for accurate prediction of seism, tsunami, and other natural disasters, but also can be widely applied to basic network of seismic stations, underground magnetic anomaly source search, weak magnetic resonance signal acquisition and many other fields by researching geomagnetic main field and deep underground structure based on the data such as the observed geomagnetic field intensity, geomagnetic inclination, geomagnetic declination, etc. In the future, Guochuang Intelligent will further promote the research and development of key technologies, realize the intelligentization, standardization, productization and industrialization of instruments and equipment, and guarantee the sustainable, stable and safe development of China's economy and society.
